North Pole Woodcrafts came into being in 2007 as a result of many years of building birdhouses and bird feeders to give as gifts. One day I was commissioned to build a birdhouse with a decorative look but yet be functional. The Alaska License Plate Birdhouse was born.
Prior to this my wife ask that I make her a bird feeder that could not be destroyed by squirrels or moose. Young bull moose seem to enjoy feasting on sunflower seeds and many a "store bought" feeder became a young moose's victim. Thus, I developed the spiral tube bird feeder. It took a few years and a lot of trial and error but finally I came up with a product that everyone seems to enjoy owning.

These birdhouses and feeders hang in yards from Ireland to Australia and from Italy to Germany, as well as through out the US and Canada.
